Vetdata's official notifications for product and service updates leverage Freshdesk's forum solution. To help organize notifications, posts will be categorized; most notifications will likely fall into the Marketplace category, but product-specific content can also be bucketed in their respective category.
Using their existing FreshDesk account, customers can follow forum topics to get the latest news emailed directly to their inbox, as well as visit the forum archive to review previous notifications.
- Sign into the FreshDesk portal
- Click the Forums tab
- Navigate into a Category and choose a Forum link
- (e.g. Data Conversions > Alerts)
- Click the Follow button
- (Repeat for each forum desired)
